Audit
The Board of Education of the East Rochester Union Free School District has established an audit committee to assist in the oversight of both the internal and external audit functions as required by Education Law Section 2116-c. Pursuant to Section 2116-c (4), the role of an audit committee shall be advisory and any recommendations it provides to the Board shall not be substituted for any required review and acceptance by the Board of Education.
Building Condition Survey
The Building Condition Survey Committee will review the 5-year Building Condition Survey and provide feedback regarding scope items for possible inclusion in capital projects to be presented to the Board of Education for approval.
CSE
The Committee on Special Education takes a multidisciplinary team approach which determines eligibility for special education and creates an Individualized Education
Program when appropriate.
District Curriculum Council
The primary goal of the District Curriculum Council is the ongoing improvement of the district’s educational program by reviewing current instructional programs and study of best practice.
Wall of Fame
Implement procedures and select new members for the ER Athletics Wall of Fame. Timelines, selection, event planning and communication for annual inductions are aligned with homecoming.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The goal of the DEI Committee is to promote institutional change within East Rochester in order to better serve the students and our community through providing positive support to the district so that educational equity and inclusion is achieved in all learning spaces.
Safety
The District Level Safety Committee is responsible for developing the District - Wide School Safety Plan. The District Level Safety Committee will also review and advise the District in ongoing and developing safety matters.
Wellness
This committee takes a complete look at student wellness. From nutrition, to mental health, to physical well-being, the wellness committee strives to improve all aspects of the wellness of the student body.
